Basic recording techniques.
The first 5 lessons is about recording acoustical instruments in the studio, basic use of reverb and Eq and how to make an simple stereo mix for CD.
You will produce/record an arrangement of your own based on a Scandinavian folk song/melody.
The lessons will lead up to a arrangement of minimum 3 different instruments and at least 4 audio tracks, properly paned and with added artificial reverb.
This assignment has to recorded and mixed in nmh project studios. Using your own studio/laptop is NOT permitted.
There will be especial assignments for those students that think they already know
how to record and mix.
The arrangement is to be delivered on a Audio CD, and will
be played Lesson 6.

The next 6 lessons is about using MIDIVST samplers
and synthesizers.
The lessons will lead up to a composition or arrangement of minimum 8 tracks, properly
paned and with added artificial reverb.
This is your first large production, and
the final result will hopefully represent you as a musician and artist.
And will be played on Lesson 13.
You are free to choose musical style.
